Quick dry? Or not-get-wet?

Kristin and I have different philosophies about this currently. I’m going for material that will get wet, but will dry quickly when it has the opportunity. She’s going for materials that will not get wet, but if they do soak through, will take longer to dry.

Will it matter on day 4 of torrential downpour on the steppe? TBD.
