Week in the life
I crashed at Kristin’s for a month to train before Thanksgiving. We got into quite the groove! I’m back now and we got right back into our schedule. So here is a week in the life.
Sunday (every other week): Orienteering competition - practicing our navigating skills while running/walking anywhere from 3-6 miles. Off Sunday would still involve a long walk or run, but without the navigation/competition component.
Monday: Lower intensity workout day
Tuesday: Personal trainer strength workout day
Wednesday: Medium length slow hack day
Thursday: Shorter ride, maybe flatwork, maybe jumping (non-endurance tack)
Friday: Personal trainer strength workout day
Saturday: Long hack day - off property if possible
Each day we also try to take a walk of some sort, and I use my Theragun to soothe any muscle soreness. We go out rain or shine which gives us a great opportunity to test gear in all weather!
